Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Not too long ago I was at a friend's house for a meeting and she had cats and I have a severe cat allergy. Normally I would need to use a steroid inhaler, an albuterol rescue inhaler and a antihistamine and if this did not work I would need to go to the emergency room and get an IV push of epinephrine, all of which are not good for me and would make my brain swell.

By the second day at my friend's house, I decided I should look for a hospital because I was not going to be able to breathe without help, but then I remembered someone at the meeting told me that, "Lavender is better than an epi pen". So I began to inhale Lavender and Peppermint oils and within 5 minutes I was able to catch my breath. I could hardly believe it. I did not go to the hospital that night but I was still struggling to breath fully.

The next day I had to go back to the house with cats for another meeting. I was still having a very hard time. Then I took about 12 drops of Lavender in a capsule and it opened my lungs about 75% and I felt fantastic. It was like I was energetic and relaxed all at the same time. One capsule of pure essential Lavender oil did more for me than prednisone, albuterol, zyrtec, and advair combined could do and with no harm to my body. I felt so good taking the Lavender that I now take 5 drops in a capsule daily.

I wanted to test things out and see if the healing from allergies was complete so I helped a friend move that had cats and I had no asthma, but I did have a scratchy throat. So I took the Lavender for two more days and again, went to a friends who had cats and this time I did not experience any symptoms. Also, I have learned that Lavender oil and Peppermint oil help with mental focus esp. during test time and study time and I am happy to say that I have a 4.0 in my Master's program.
