Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

When using Peppermint for the first time, test for sensitivity. For sensitive skin you may need several drops of pure vegetable/ olive oil. If the Peppermint oil feels irritating add more vegetable/ olive oil to the area. Keep away from your eyes. To test whether or not it is too strong to ingest directly, put a drop on a spoon and taste just a little bit. I personally have no issues with full strength Peppermint oil.

When I have a headache, I like to use Peppermint oil. I use a few drops on my neck along the spine all the way to where my spine meets my head. I also rub some into the soft spots on my head (around the ears, base of the head, temple area - stay away from your eyes - I apply it well into my hairline).

I also like to apply Peppermint oil to sore muscles and joints. The oil has a great cooling sensation.

When I have a stuffy nose, I place a drop or two on my tongue. I Sometimes I also apply Peppermint and Thieves oil to my chest/neck area before bedtime.

Sometimes I add a drop of Peppermint oil to a bottle of water. It tastes refreshing and cool.
