Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
My son has had 2 very serious reactions to wasp or hornet stings, such as bloodshot eyes and heart racing along with weakness. When he was recently stung again on his hand, I jumped to the Essential Oil Desk Reference and looked up stings. I was missing one of the oils for the recommended blend, so I used 2 drops Lavender, 1 drop Wintergreen, 1 drop Peppermint and 1 drop Copaiba.
We applied the oils and jumped into the car to head for Urgent Care as I didn't want him to have a severe reaction and be home with it. By the time we reached Urgent Care, 30 minutes after the sting occured, he had none of the adverse reactions. We sat in the parking lot and decided there was no need to go in. We applied the blend of oils a few more times throughout the day as well as him taking Copaiba internally in a capsule. Today the hand is very swollen, up into the wrist. I read the testimonials on using Cypress and will try that to reduce the swelling.
