Cut off end of finger with router

My husband was working in his woodshop last year making some Christmas presents. I came out to check on him just as he was running his router. He became distracted for just a second and ran his finger through the router. I saw blood go flying! I knew he was hurt. I immediately ran into the house for my Essential Oil Desk Reference. I mixed up a batch of oil using Geranium, Peppermint, Tea Tree and Orange. I also added some Helichrysum to help stop the bleeding and promote regeneration of the tissue since there was a chunk missing. It stung a little at first (I think the Peppermint). We would change the bandage 2x per day. After about the 3rd day it began looking like it was going to get infected so I added a drop or two of Thieves to the mix. By the next day the redness had cleared and it continued to heal. Today we cannot tell which finger on which hand it was that got hurt. There is no scar or dent from the chunk of flesh that was removed by the router. We never went to the doctor or used anything but the oils.
