A few nights ago, our tiny chihuahua had some sort of strange episode where we heard her breathe funny, then her nose swelled up really puffy and her skin was all red and blotchy. I couldn't find any sign her having been bitten or stung. My daughter and I just prayed for the Lord to heal her as I put lavender on the pads of her feets, a drop on her back neck, a drop of cedarwood on her back neck and a drop of sandalwood.

I'm not sure why I chose those oils, they just seemed right in the angst of the moment. The swelling began to come down almost immediately, and by morning she was perfectly fine.
