Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I found a deer tick embedded in our Golden Retriever's cheek last October. I used Peppermint oil to release it first. It had obviously been there a while and had dug a pretty deep hole. I had a bottle of Copaiba sitting on the coffee table. I knew about its skin care properties and since it was the closest oil to me I put one drop in the hole. (Thinking I'd do more proper care later.)

The next day, I couldn't even find the wound. Three days later there were some dried flakes of brown tissue on her cheek. I brushed them off, but still couldn't find a wound. I did not save the tick or have it tested (sorry), but I can't worry about every tick she gets. We live on a farm. Its not practical. The oils however, are very practical!
