Discomfort from a wisdom tooth

I was having pain at the end of my gum, where the wisdom tooth was not quite out. The dentist had warned me that it was unable to come out as there was no space, but she may have to do surgery to remove it if there ever was pain.

Well, now it started hurting and I got worried. My enite left jaw was sore and I had problem opening it wide as well. I tried to get an appointment with my dentist, but got one only after 4 days.
Since the pain was bearable, I decided to wait. Meanwhile, I applied thieves right onto the gums and panaway on the outside of my jaw three times a day. I even sprayed thieves mouthwash at night.
I didn't really feel much difference the next two days. But on the day of my appointment, I just called in to cancel it as to my amazement, my gums, tooth and jaw felt completely normal! I decided to apply the oils for a few more days in order for them to complete their work. I was thrilled that I didn't have to visit my dentist or have nightmares on any surgery.
