Horse manure got into my cut

I was trimming the goats hooves which were covered in manure and I accidentally stuck the clippers into the end of my finger with all the foul material on them. I washed out the wound and took a bandaid and put 3 drops of Thieves on it and did that for 3 days and the cut healed fast and well with no infection.
