Lavender after a fall

After tripping on a brick step and landing 'hard' on my right knee, not only did I feel embarrassed with a group of workers looking on, but the pain that ensued had me scurrying in the house for a remedy. I sat down to examine the damage and after rubbing it intensely for about 30 seconds, lavender came to mind. After rubbing it on the area of intense pain, I let my pant leg down and went about my day.

Later in the evening, I was curious to see how the lavender worked and lo and behold! The area where I applied the lavender was c-o-m-p-l-e-t-e-l-y void of any evidence of my fall, however, the area that I missed due to there being no initial pain was purple and had a bump the size of a quarter. No one need try and convince me of the power of essential oils. I am so grateful for being introduced to them!
