Thieves lozenges and mouthwash for sore throat

I can't speak highly enough about the hard Thieves lozenges and mouthwash. Whenever I find that I cannot sleep because of a cough or tickle in my throat, I'll place a hard lozenge on my tongue and let it rest there through the night. Sometimes I'll first gargle with the mouthwash and then literally swallow the liquid down my throat. The cinnamon and clove in the mouthwash helps numb the tickle in my throat and the lozenge will keep a light coating on my throat while I rest. A friend of mine will put the lozenge under her tongue so she doesn't swallow it and it works just as well. Sometimes I'll wake up with a little sliver of the lozenge still on my tongue and I'll finish it off in the morning. Thieves lozenges are a must have in our family for cold and flu season, especially when trying to get good sleep during recovery from coughs and sore throats...
