My face would occasionally break out with acne no matter what soap, astringent or cleanser I used.
Eventually I was at a complete loss and had the revelation that less is more. So I simply used a simple Almond or Peppermint castille soap and followed up by massaging a few drops of cedarwood essential oil all over my face.

I did this once in the morning and once in the evening. I learned that it is good to use other oils so I would also use lavender, patchouli, galbanum and spikenard.

For the past few months my skin has looked incredibly smooth and the few breakouts I've had are very small in size.
