From time to time I get a cold sore on my lip. As soon as I feel it coming I have applied Zovirax however it still seems to break out and scab and I have it for about a week. A few weeks ago I could feel a cold sore coming about 11 pm one night I could not find the Zovirax so thought I would try Lavender Oil.

I applied it about every 4 hours the first day and then 3 times a day for about 5 days, it was just fantastic, the cold sore did not break out and there was no scab and it took the 'itching' feel away. I would recommend Lavender Oil to anyone who suffers cold sores. - Marg & Mel Richards
