After some excruciating bouts with internal hemorrhoids, I decided to use two essential oils cited for their effectiveness in treating swelling: geranium and lavender. I applied the oils topically, diluted with fractionated coconut oil as a carrier. After a week, the pain was almost entirely gone. Yay!
