How to prevent colds from preschool

My 3 year old recently started preschool. With preschool there were SO many new germs she was exposed to (stayed at home until now). In the beginning she would go to school on Mon and by Wed she would have a cold start to pop up. Thurs- full blown cold by the afternoon. Then I would think to put Pine, Eucalyptus g. and Melaleuca a. on her nose, forehead and chest- I would keep doing this in the morning and before bed. She definitely slept better and could breath through her nose with the oils.

I decided I needed to take it a step further and kept the oils on her all week- as a preventative. When I didn't use the oils she would get sick, have a terribly runny nose and not be up to par. Her teacher would comment on how much she had to wipe her nose when I didn't put them on her.

I put the oils on my youngest (13 mos. at the time) in the same manner. Since there was never a fever with these colds there were only the over the counter medications that are not recommended for such small children. I feel great using the oils on my girls- the girls run to the couch to get the oils on. No holding down to dose with icky medicine that isn't safe for my family.
