I have a friend who was suffering from debilitating menstrual cramps, very unusual for her. She went to her OB and, among other things, was prescribed strong painkillers.

Before trying them, I gave her a mixture of 8 drops of Ginger and 8 drops of Rosemary diluted in 2 Tablespoons of organic olive oil. She said it helped her tremendously. The mixture is a double-strength version of what I use on my two-year-old's feet to stop his occasional nighttime foot cramps.
