Thieves Spray gets rid of mold

It is the job of our three oldest children to do the dishes after dinner each night. One thing that is often overlooked when we buy juice in bottles is the Kool-Aid pitcher. Frequently, because when it is empty, it is not kept in the refrigerator, and it is kept tightly closed, it grows mold when it isn't in use because of this neglect.

My children have found that Thieves Spray makes it easy to wipe the mold out, and cleans the pitcher better than any dish soap. They have tried to scrub it out, I am allergic to mold, so they can't try to con me into doing it for them, using dish soap, but it is very difficult to remove. They have found that spraying the inside of the pitcher with Thieves Spray does something to it and it just comes clean quickly and easily, and smells good as well. It doesn't even make the Kool-aid taste like Thieves, though the pitcher often smells like Thieves. They just wash it with dish soap after spraying it to make sure the Kool-Aid doesn't taste like Thieves.
