I would not be without Melissa for fever blisters. Its been a long time now since I had one, but when I did, at the very beginning, when there was even a hint of a fever blister, I would simply apply a drop of melissa officianalis to the area, and would follow up with a drop every few hours. If it hasn't already started, it will not completely appear, and if it has started, it will go away soon or dry up soon.
