I once did home colonics and every single day I used a spray bottle of lemon oil and water (15-25 drops lemon oil per spray bottle of water, depending on size of bottle) to clean my bathroom. I never had any bad odor and no problems from e coli in the bathroom or anywhere in the house!

Lemon is an extremely powerful antibacterial oil. Nowadays I keep a spray bottle of it under my kitchen sink for cutting boards and counter tops and sink drains.
