Our black lab, Buddy, got his tail slammed in the door and pulled it on a windy day. Blood FLEW and he was in a panic. He started to shake all over. I took Young Living Pan Away and dropped some into the wound which was on both sides of the tail. One side pulled to the bone for an inch the other side two inches of skin lost.

My husband and I could SEE the blood cogulate into clots an inch wide and two inches long. I also took some lavender oil and rubbed his ears. After a couple minutes he stopped shaking, relaxed and allowed me to compress the wound and wrap it. Keeping the bandage on was a trick. He started wagging it and seemed good. I dressed it with Pan Away for the first couple of dressings and then just lavender. It healed almost perfect. The fur returned to the just skinned off side and the other side is a little bald two years later. My sisters dog had this happen and the vet amputated it. Buddy's tail wags. It's his happy meter.
