While cleaning one day I touched my bare forearm to a hot lightbulb which resulted in a nice, circular blister about 3' across!

Luckily I had lavender with me and applied it several times, but it didn't seem to help the pain much! I found out that Peppermint really relieved the pain for me, and is safe as long as the skin is not broken. The spot healed beautifully and quickly.
