Planter type warts on my hand

I had two planter type warts on my hand--one had been there for ages, the other was newer, but getting bigger and very obvious. I tried various treatments before oils--then tried Oregano. I put it right on the wart, sometimes covered it. I did this frequently and these disappeared very quickly. It was wonderful, but you do have to be careful not to get it on the skin around it so it will irritate it. I do have one on an index finger now that is stubborn to the treatment--perhaps because it is used so much and rubs off? Any ideas?
