Stab wound healed quickly

Sunday morning I foolishly tried to remove an avocado pit by stabbing it with a sharp knife. It slipped off the pit, through the avocado, and into my hand below– about 3/16 wide and maybe 3/8 inches deep. I think the knife stopped because it hit bone.

After pondering my lack of wisdom, I discarded thoughts of a trip to the Emergency Room. I didn’t have time. I figured it would just have to heal from the inside out, and if it scarred, oh well.

I grabbed my oils. Blood welled from the spot each time I removed the napkin and pressure. I know Helichrysum is good for stopping bleeding, but I didn’t have any. I put Melrose on to disinfect it, then Lavender to heal and Frankincense because it’s an all round healer.

Of course, it kept bleeding and I wasn’t sure if any of the oils were getting to the wound. So I put some Lavender around the area. After maybe 10 minutes of pressure, I just let it bleed and put some more oils on it. Within a few minutes, the bleeding stopped.

The amazing thing is, that within 20 minutes or so I had no more pain. It never got infected. No swelling, no bruising. By Monday morning, it was about 80% closed up. By Tuesday morning it was nearly all closed, except for the callous edges. And by that afternoon, I was hauling my luggage through three airports with that hand!

Some people initially think the oils are expensive. Let’s compare: Trip to Emergency Room, 4 hours wasted. Pain. Medications. Slow healing time. OR Maybe $5 in oils (I continued with the Melrose, Lavender and Frankincense morning and evening) No pain, No infection, No meds, and back to full use in 3 days.

I just look at this slight line on my hand and think, This is a miracle! Thank the Lord for Young Living Oils!
