More on the oils I used on Mary...

Much to my dismay during a week long vacation, Mary had gotten a hold of a Bic lighter, struck it and caught her clothes on fire. She was severely burned. The skin was coming off in huge chunks. I immediately began treating her with Lavender oil. I knew that was the best thing for burns. Even though the doctors had prescribed burn ointment.

I continued to use the Lavender oil and then added Patchouli oil to the mix...the pain eased, the itching stopped and the wound was healing wonderfully. At her next doctor's appointment they were amazed at the healing that was going on. They asked if I had been using the ointment that they had prescribed, I explained what I was using, and the doctor told me to keep up the good work.I smiled within. When all was said and done, the scarring on her fragile skin was minimal.
