I am a pet groomer who specializes in violent pets. I get bitten frequently as a result. I find helichrysum to be really effective at preventing bruises from bites. Just a tiny drop rubbed on immediately not only removes the pain it also prevents bruising from the crush of the bite. I have also used it to dramatically reduce hematomas and also to stop bleeding from cuts. Its my 'go to' oil for trauma type wounds of all kinds. I usually follow it up with lavender to prevent infection.
