Wintergreen for inflammation

One of our dogs is a lab/pit mix. At about 1 1/2 he started showing signs of problems with one of his legs. Upon taking him to the vet we were told it is a trait of labs to have bad joints. Pretty much no option other than to deal with it and keep the dog from extending to much stress on it. Well he loves to play and after a day of play with our other dog you could tell he was in pain. By the next morning he could barely walk and by mid day he couldnt move and was shaking in pain.

I called the vet and was told to bring him in. Since he is very large I had to wait for my husband to carry him. I did not want him to sit in pain so I thought to putting oil on him would help a little. I applied about 6-8 drops of wintergreen on his leg. Within 30 minutes he was wagging his tail and walking with no signs of pain! These oils really are miracles in a bottle!
