Burn helped by lavender

I am a Massage Therapist and was preparing to heat the stones for a Hot Stone Massage in an unfamiliar stone warmer. I put my hand on the side of the warmer to see if it was getting hot and seriously burned my hand. It was bright red and seemed as if it might blister.

I had an aromatherapy book and looked up burns. It mentioned peppermint and lavender were helpful with burns. I had both with me so I put lavender first and a little peppermint. Then I rubbed more lavender a few more times before I started the Stone Massage. The pain went away after maybe 10 or 15 minutes. Thank goodness as it was a 90 Minute massage!!

I continued to rub only the Young Living Lavender Oil on it the rest of the evening. When I woke up the next day my hand looked as if I never had burned it. It was truly amazing. There was no redness, no blister, Nothing at all. I have been using YL oils ever since to help with all types of health issues.
