Outdoor allergies no longer an issue

I have had allergies for several years, mainly to molds, mildew, trees, grasses, weeds, etc. In 2006 I had to go to emergency because I had a major problem with my vision and terrible migraines.(The vision happened in the middle of the afternoon) Of course ,they could find nothing wrong with my eyes except a little bit of swelling in the eyeball.They could not explain at all why they couldn't see what I was or was not seeing. It was scary. I was like this for months. I also went to 2 eye doctors and they could find nothing.

Anyway, my allergy appointment was due and explained the situation to my allergist, who said I should have gone to him when it happened. He said he has heard of it happening and the trees were probably what did it for me being that I am surrounded by 20 acres of trees. Following several tests it turns out I had a severe sinus infection. Went through 2 bouts of antibiotics and steroids. The side affects were terrible. I then decided enough and began using the Young Living oils. I had a couple but had never really used them much. I got the Essential Oil Desk Reference and followed the protocol on page 400 under the Nasal Irrigation Regimen. 12 drops Rosemary, 4 drops Melaleuca Ericifolia, 8 tablespoons very fine salt (salt flower).

I got myself a Neti pot and started using it. The results have been amazing! Use it for as many days and as often as you feel necessary. I just went with my gut feeling. I still use it when I feel any type of symptom coming on. For the first time I began sneezing, my sinuses would drain out, my ears even became unplugged. My eyes slowly began hurting less and the swelling in the eyeball(s) itself went away. It made a lot of sense since ears, nose, throat and vision are all affected by the sinuses.

You should also know that during this time I had begun allergy shots (bad side effects) since my doctor had run out of options for me. I was also on Zyrtec D, Maxalt for migraines. A slew of drugs that only MASKED or HID the symptoms so I never knew they were getting worse. I informed my doctor I would be using the oils to take care of my allergies in the future. Also, that I would still see him yearly, I do think that is important, but no more drugs. Hope this helps some of you.

The oils are awesome!! I hope this wasn't too long but I really felt the background info was necessary. If one oil doesn't work, try another. I have other testimonials on allergies and other oils. I will be posting those also in the near future.
