Allergy relief with lavender

My 3 year old daughter had been suffering from allergies since she was 18 months old. Every year around October would start a 9 month long fight. She would start sneezing one day and would have a sinus infection by the next day...every time. I had tried some herbal remedies with a little improvement, but finally gave in to prescription allergy medicine after 6 weeks of constant yuck with only about 1 week of wellness. The allergy medicine worked the first season, but did nothing the second season.

This season, we were introduced to Young Living's essential oils. We started using lavender on her before bed every night just to see if it would work since nothing else did. Within about 5-7 days, her sinuses cleared up from her latest infection. She stayed well with no signs of allergies for 8-9 weeks before coming down with a strong cold (we all caught this one). This has been the longest amount of time she has been well (even while her younger sister was sick with a cold) since she was 18 months old.

I'm a believer in these oils now. My little girl can finally live outside the house and so can I!
