Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

My left facet joint presses agaInst a ruptured disk at the base of my back, resulting in radiating pain down my left leg. The intuitive thing would be to treat the leg, right? The problem, however, is at my spine, even though it doesn't hurt there. There is noticeable inflammation, that's it.

Steroids, anti-inflammatory medication such as Celebrex, is aimed toward lowering the inflammation that makes pain signals race to the brain. If one increases the alkalinity of the blood pH, the same benefit is achieved.

It's helpful to add Lemon essential oil to your drinking water, as its alkalinity helps bind acids in your digestive tract, thus bringing a more alkaline balance to your pH.

But if your system is very acidic like mine is, that's not enough. I don't like Alkalime -- it tastes chalky and isn't a pleasure to drink -- but I take one teaspoon in water every morning and night. I also take ComforTone. We have a family history of cancer of the colon. I feel that I am not only being pro-active in self-care, but am also addressing the problem at the base of my spine.

Since I started taking Alkalime faithfully, the inflammation reduced significantly. My allopathic doctors note it with surprise . . . I haven't converted them and don't expect to. I only aim to change myself, and model what is possible. It has been an effective practice.
