My step-father came to visit me and showed me these big oozing sores on his shin at least the size of a small apple. He gets them when he bangs his legs on anything as he is diabetic. I applied tea tree oil to fight off infection and lavender to sooth/promote healing of the skin. We also applied PanAway on the skin surrounding the open sore as it was red and purple and sore.

A scab started to develop that night for the first time in months he was able to sleep without pain. He continued to apply Melaueca and lavender and the leg was healed completely without swelling for the first time in years.
