Last year my horse had her baby filly. The birthing process was fast, but afterwards her recovery was slow. She was cramping so bad that she couldn't stand up, even after passing the afterbirth. We were getting concerned because an hour and a half went by and she was still down in pain.

I applied about a bottle of lavender on her loins and sacral area - Valor to her forehead and spine - Peace & Calming on her shoulders and ears. We were able to get her up so the baby could latch on. As soon as the baby suckled it's like she snapped out of her stupor. Amen to the oils because that baby was hungry!
