Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

A few weeks after having abdominal surgery I realized I had really "over-done it" since the oils were making me feel so much better. My incision began hurting worse, getting redder, started bleeding again, and getting small pockets of pus. I had been putting Geranium, Lavender, and other oils on the incisions, which I could tell were helping some, but still decided to check with the doctor. It was not as serious as she thought it might have been, but was mildly concerned and prescribed antibiotics.

Then my Cedarwood oil arrived and I started applying it to the incision 4-5 times a day, almost exclusively. Immediately I could tell it was working better and in a week or so, the doctor seemed pleased that "the antibiotics worked". I never took them.

I know Gary Young says if one oil doesn't work, try another one. In this case Atlas Cedarwood was the one that ultimately worked the best for me, though I believe the others helped keep things in check. I can't imagine what would have happened if I hadn't been using any to begin with.
