Car sickness eased

I have two school age daughters who suffer horribly with carsickness during drives that last over an hour in the car. They also like to read in the car, which probably adds to their queasiness. Their nausea begins as headaches, followed by nausea and then vomiting.

Recently a trusted friend helped us at the start of a long car ride, and was the beginning of our transformation in trusting essential oils for natural healing. She placed a drop or two of peppermint oil on their hands, and they rubbed it on their bellies and inhaled from their hands. They thought it smelled so wonderful, and they had no problems on the car ride, or the one back home (they sniffed a tissue with peppermint oil on it on the way home).

Since then, we've taken peppermint oil on our long trips, applying to the abdomen at the beginning of the trip, with absolutely no nausea or headaches. Although I have no authority to claim a curative, I will continue to pack the oils on our trips. What a transformation!
