Bee sting in throat

I was sitting by the pool enjoying a nice sunny afternoon with a book and a beer. Unbeknownst to me, a bee was also enjoying my beer from inside the bottle. As I started to take drink I felt the bee about halfway down my throat do its dasterdly deed. A couple of coughs brought the culprit up and out. I could immediately feel my throat swelling.

Worried that the swelling could block my airway, I got out the oils. First I put 4 drops of Pan Away on my tongue and slowly swallowed. After a minute I did the same with 4 drops of Lavender. Repeated this 3x over the next hour. Pain was gone after about 10 minutes. The 'lump' in my throat from the initial swelling did not get any bigger and after 1 hour started to decrease. Took most of the day to get rid of all the swelling. I feel that without the oils this could have been a very serious situation. The moral of the story is cover your Bud or bee-ware!
