Lavender for so many things

My husband pulled a piece of skin from his lip and caused it to bleed; first thing he did was pull out the lavender and dab some on, stopped bleeding right away and healed quickly.

At a family gathering I peeled enough potatoes to feed everyone with a very old metal potatoe peeler and developed a large blister. I went to the essential oils desk reference for some help, Lavender followed by Melaleuca on the blister caused the swelling to go down. The next day it was a brownish color but never broke, 1 day later it was gone.

I've used it for a burned finger caused by taking a pan out of the oven. Lavender went on first to soothe the burn, then peppermint around it (not on the burn) to take away the pain. Great stuff-every home should have at least one bottle. I always carry it with me!
