What we did for a dog bite

My dog gave my son a nasty bite on his hand the other day. He left a hole and the wound was really bad. I could see some white stuff and the flesh and other liquids it was awful. I panicked and didn't know if I should rush to the E.R.

I decided to wash the wound with soap and water and alcohol. I remembered my 7 Essential kit. I am very new to oils so I dont' know what the oils are for yet off the top of my head. I decided to wash the wound in Lemon oil since I remembered it was anti-bacterial. Then I added Lavender because it is good for the skin. I added PanAway to take away his pain. I asked to inhale Peace and Calming because the event left him shaky and nervous. The area around the wound was already swelling and turning red.

15-20 minutes after the treatment, I looked at the wound and the redness had gone away. The swelling had stopped and the pain had lessened greatly and my son had calmed down. Next day the wound was so much better. There was a scab and it looked smaller and ever since it has been healing wonderfully. I would say that the oils helped the wound heal so much faster. I should have taken pictures!
