Wound healed fast with helicrysum & frankincense

My brother came to our Thanksgiving dinner with his left hand wrapped in an ace bandage. When asked what had happened to his hand, he winced and described how he had been peeling apples with a paring knife and accidentally stabbed himself in the meat of his thumb. It was a deep wound, bleeding a lot; he had applied pressure and wrapped it up.

I immediately took him upstairs, sat him on the bed, and we unwrapped the bandage. Sure enough, the wound, about 3/8 inch long, began gushing blood.
I poured a few drops of helichrysum on it, then we covered it up again for a few minutes. When we uncovered it again, the bleeding had slowed. I reapplied helichrysum and added a drop of frankincense. We wrapped it up again and went down to dinner.

A couple of hours later, we took another look. The bleeding had slowed to almost nothing, so I reapplied the oils, which stopped the bleeding completely, and made a sling so he could keep the wound uncovered and rest his hand.

When I visited my brother at home the next day, all the swelling was gone, the redness was gone, and the wound was obviously healing nicely. He was continuing to apply Panaway (which has helicrysum in it) and frankincense, and when I called him on Monday the wound was just about completely healed. One more emergency room trip averted!
