Submitted to me by another longtime Young Living distributor who chooses to remain anonymous:

I am bipolar and have been on antidepressants for over 10 years. Since I started using Joy essential oil, I have reduced the number of antidepressant pills I take daily and my depression is so much better. It's not gone, but I don't get so "depressed", just sad and irritable. When I do I put a drop of Joy behind each ear and rub some on the back of my head. What's left I rub over my heart.

When I am feeling manic, I inhale frankincense and put a drop on the top of my head (crown chakra) and rub some on my forehead and the back of my head (brow chakra). It really calms me down. Sometimes I put one drop on the bottom of each big toe. This helps too.
