Caution: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. The brand should offer a pure, therapeutic-grade essential oil that does not contain synthetic additives.
Submitted to me by another longtime Young Living distributor who chooses to remain anonymous:
I am bipolar and have been on antidepressants for over 10 years. Since I started using Joy essential oil, I have reduced the number of antidepressant pills I take daily and my depression is so much better. It's not gone, but I don't get so "depressed", just sad and irritable. When I do I put a drop of Joy behind each ear and rub some on the back of my head. What's left I rub over my heart.
When I am feeling manic, I inhale frankincense and put a drop on the top of my head (crown chakra) and rub some on my forehead and the back of my head (brow chakra). It really calms me down. Sometimes I put one drop on the bottom of each big toe. This helps too.
