Oils after giving birth with an episiotomy

I was just bragging about the oils to a few of my pregnant girlfriends after giving birth to a 10 lb 4 oz baby. I used the Purification, Panaway, lavender and peppermint. I quit using the peppermint because it was too stimulating. The other 3 I continued to use. I squeezed out the tucks pad that the hospital provided and put 3-4 drops of each on the pad, squeezed it around to disperse evenly and applied it to the stitched site. I would change it a couple of times a day. There was no pulling, itching or other discomfort with the stitches.

I did not use the oils for a few hours around day five and I got a dull pain that went through layers of my body that when I used the oils again was relieved. The oils helped me stay on top of the pain instantly unlike the Motrin that the hospital supplied.
