Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

On January 5th, 1993, I was in an extremely tragic car accident. I suffered from very serious head, back and neck injuries. I was also in a coma for 7 days, couldn't talk for 10 days (likely due to trauma and grief), since I also lost my brother in the same crash. And many other details I've forgotten over the years.

I spent more than three months in Rehabilitation Hospitals. Those were months of pain and grief. By the grace of God, much to the Doctors' amazement, I made a miraculous recovery. Slowly but surely I began to learn to do simple things like walk, talk, feed myself and many other things that we take for granted in life.

Externally my scars and bruises healed, but inwardly I was in pain, day and night, with grief and headaches. Over the last fourteen years, I've tried various pain relieving techniques, such as massage therapy, chiropractic adjustments, accu-puncture, active release, reflexology and the list goes on. Some relieved my pain temporarily and some made it worse.

I've also been on numerous medications, such as Tylenol 3's, Robaxisal w/ codeine, Vioxx, Celebrex, etc. and even anti-depressents. I discovered the Young Living oils through a friend of mine in Dec. 2005 and have been using them since. I praise the Lord, for the oils and Gary Young, because within a year I was completely Drug FREE (December 2006). If you are interested in hearing about how God gave me a new lease on life, please feel free to contact me. Since I've had these phenomenal results for myself, I have also tried numerous other Young Living Products with great results for not only myself, but for my husband and two young daughters, as well.

The possibility that BCP may ameliorate the symptoms of these mood disorders offers exciting prospects for future studies."Link
4.Associated topics: depression-/-sadness-/-hopelessness-/-sorrow — "A number of essential oils are currently in use as aromatherapy agents to relieve anxiety, stress, and depression. Popular anxiolytic oils include lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), rose (Rosa damascena), orange (Citrus sinensis), bergamot (Citrus aurantium), lemon (Citrus limon), sandalwood (Santalum album), clary sage (Salvia sclarea), Roman chamomile (Anthemis nobilis), and rose-scented geranium (Pelargonium spp.)."Link
5.Associated topics: depression-/-sadness-/-hopelessness-/-sorrow — "Most studies, as well as clinically applied experience, have indicated that various essential oils, such as lavender, lemon and bergamot can help to relieve stress, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. Most notably, inhalation of essential oils can communicate signals to the olfactory system and stimulate the brain to exert neurotransmitters (e.g. serotonin and dopamine), thereby further regulating mood."Link
6.Associated topics: depression-/-sadness-/-hopelessness-/-sorrow — "The ylang ylang oil caused a significant decrease of blood pressure and a significant increase of skin temperature. At the behavioral level, subjects in the ylang ylang oil group rated themselves more calm and more relaxed than subjects in the control group. These findings are likely to represent a relaxing effect of the ylang ylang oil and provide some evidence for the usage of the ylang ylang oil in aromatherapy such as causing a relief of depression and stress in humans."Link
7.Associated topics: head-trauma — "We report on a patient whose severe post-ECT headaches responded completely to methyl salicylate [wintergreen] ointment, applied to the area of his temporalis and masseter muscles.
