I have been having very good results applying peppermint oil to my jaw to treat Trigeminal Neuralgia. It has been an extremely painful syndrome that up to this point, I was only finding relief with narcotic pain medicine.
The oil seems to work up to an hour and then I reapply a drop with my finger and massage it into my gum. I have cut down on the amount of prescription medications, which is my goal.
