Before moving from a home with very hard well water, I cleaned the small table fountains that I have and packed them carefully. When I unpacked my favorite fountain, filled it with water and plugged it in, the pump didn't even hum. What a disappointment! It's a simple little pump and when I looked very carefully I could see build-up inside it and nothing I tried was small enough to reach it. Apparently it was sediment from the well water that had dried solid while it was packed.

Later that evening I turned the switch and whah-lah! the little pump is running fine. Leaving the Thieves cleaner circulate through the fountain made all of the parts sparkle and it smells very nice in my home office where the fountain adds its serenity. Thieves Household Cleaner turned a disappointment into a joy; the sound of the water is pleasing to my senses and I enjoy seeing the water cascading freely.
