I was unable to move my wrist without discomfort

I have been diagnosed with Keinbock's disease. It is necrosis of the lunate bone in the wrist. The bone is deprived of blood flow and as a result the bone begins to die-shrink. When this happens, other bones in the wrist begin to shift causing extreme pain in that area. If left untreated or diagnosed too late, it can result in severe arthritis and deformity. If caught early enough, they usually fuse the bone, but still, you are left with almost no mobility in that wrist.

Fortunately, I was diagnosed when the symptoms first started to appear. I basically was told to limit certain activities to help preserve the bone and not cause further damage.

It started with an acute flare up of the wrist and I could not bend or move it from side to side. I could only move my fingers!

I was put in a cast for about a month to keep it stable and hopefully allow for some blood flow to that area.

After the cast came off, I was told to be very careful! No hyperflexion of the wrist, pounding, etc.

I started to develop mild arthritis - dull ache in that spot. And it would get really sore sometimes radiating into the rest of my hand.

I recently found out about Young Living Essential Oils and investigated which oils to use...I put on wintergreen for bone pain, cypress for circulation, and lemongrass for ligament and tendon.

I was diagnosed with Keinbock's in 1999. And, had POUNDING pain almost everyday, especially rainy days for the last 8 years. I can happily say, so far, that I haven't had anymore pain in that wrist since I used the oils.
