Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Suggestions for using some of my favorite oils and blends.

* Peppermint (for headaches, nausea, and mosquito bites)

GREAT for headaches; I'm in the process of dramatically changing my diet and have experienced detox symptoms as a result. So, whenever I've had a headache, I put some Peppermint on my temples, middle of my forehead, and the back of my neck. Within about 2 minutes, the headache is gone.

Peppermint is also great for upset stomach...I mixed some olive oil with a few drops of Peppermint and rubbed it over the stomach area and in about 5 minutes there was no more stomach ache.

Peppermint is also great for mosquito bites...I rubbed some oil on the bites, and it stopped the itchy feeling.

* Frankincense oil for Actinic Keratoses

Everything I've read about Frankincense says it helps to repair DNA and is an immune builder. Since my dermatologist told me I have Actinic Keratoses, I decided to try some Frankincense oil on them.

I mixed about 7 drops of oil with equal drops olive oil for each arm and rubbed over the affected areas. In 2 days I saw MAJOR improvement. In approximately 5 days, all the actinic keratoses (about 15 in all) were completely gone! Usually the only way to get rid of them is having them "frozen" off at the doctor's office... so I'm very happy I don't have to do that anymore. I'm very pleased with the results that Frankincense oil has given me.

* The Peace & Calming oil blend (for stress and anxiety)

Peace & Calming, a few drops applied on wrists or temple helps take the edge off a bad mood, stress, anxiety, etc. I've also found that it helps promote relaxation and more restful sleep.

* The PanAway Oil Blend

PanAway helps alleviate and lessen muscle pain. For example, for several months I was having terrible aches and pains in my lower right leg, so much so that I would wake up about every 15 minutes at night. Needless to say, I couldn't get good rest because I was waking up all the time.

The very first day we received our Young Living oils, I mixed about 10 drops of PanAway with some olive oil and rubbed over the sore muscles on my leg. I didn't feel any relief at first, but decided to go to sleep and hope for the best.

I slept the ENTIRE night without waking up one time! It TOTALLY helped the achiness to go away... I continued to use it nightly for about 2 weeks, and now I don't have to use it anymore. No more leg pain!

* Lavender Oil

When our daughter got hives, they were all over her body and very itchy. I mixed about 5 drops of Lavender (along with a few drops Peppermint) with equal parts olive oil and rubbed over the areas that had hives (except for the eye area - that area is too sensitive for the oils).

A few minutes later, she wasn't feeling itchy anymore and was able to sleep the entire night. By the next morning, the hives were completely gone and there was no sign of irritation of her skin.

I truly believe in these essential oils!
