Today my husband and I were within a couple driving hours from home after a long vacation when there was a wreck in front of us. He went to help and I jumped out of our car into the ditch to call 911.
Within two minutes, my feet and lower legs felt as if they were on fire. I had obviously walked in grass or weeds that my body didn't like, possibly poison ivy as well.
I had taken a limited supply of Young Living products with us and grabbed LavaDerm first, spraying my feet and legs a couple of times and letting the air conditioning blow on my legs.
Unfortunately the stinging got worse, so I rubbed on a few drops of the Purification oil blend. This particular oil always takes away the sting, including swelling and itching from nasty Texas fire ant bites. In this case thought, the stinging eased a bit, but welts started popping out on my feet, ankles and lower legs.
So then I grabbed the bottle of Thieves Mouthwash, a cosmetic sponge, and washed down my legs and feet and sandals. I then applied Dentarome Plus toothpaste to the welts. The intense burning sensation stopped and, within an hour, the welts were gone too.
Who knew that dental products would be so effective!
