This spring one of our cows had to go to Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital and have a c-section, this is done on the side of a cow. When we brought her home I applied trama life around the incision area. Then I applied PanAway aroung the incision area. Careful not to put the oils directly in the incision itself.
I then sprayed Theives spray over the incesion area. The Thieves did a great job at keeping the flies off the incession area. I then applied Immune Power on her back, starting at mid back to tail head. I continued with the Immune Power and Thieves Spray for 2 more days. I was also giving her 2 Naxcel shots per day. My concern was flies causing infection. This did not happen, I took the stitches out 14 days later and sprayed again with the Thieves spray. She has healed very nicely.
