Calmed an injury shock victim

My husband brought my daughter inside screaming as she had just had the end of her finger shut in a car door. He put on Lavender and I got some PanAway on it. We were trying to get her to calm down so we could assess if her joint was broken, but she kept up her hysterics. I tried some Peace & Calming but was seeing no results as she was now shivering and showing symptoms of shock.

Suddenly, I remembered Gary Young using Valerian and Vetiver for pain and surgeries and I had my oldest daughter grab it for me. I applied about three drops of each to each foot and rubbed all over. Within 5+ minutes she was calm and we could finally assess for a break and thankfully there was none.

Also, I expected some bruising from such an injury but there was none. I definitely recommend having these oils on hand for emergencies especially with children!
