Extration of teeth and what I did for the pain

Five days ago I had an appointment with my dentist to have 3 teeth extracted and at the same time, inserted the new partial to replace the lost teeth. It was no picnic.

My dentist recommeded that even though it could be quite uncomfortable, it would be best to keep the partial in my mouth through the night. He told me to take asprin/aleve or the like to help with the inflamation and pain. I told him I did not take or have any of these medications, but that I knew I would be just fine with my oils.

As soon as I got home I first put some ice on the outside area to get the swelling down. After that I used a couple of drops of Myrrh, and 1/2 hr. later, Helichrysum. I repeated this rest of the afternoon. By evening I also used the oils on the inside of my mouth. Guess what - no swelling, no pain and slept well the whole night. Needless to say, I am very happy for our oils.
