Weeping eczema and lavender

I get an oozing eczema occasionally on my face. Usually this starts as a fluid filled sac which oozes for about a day and then scabs over and takes a week or two for the scab to completely go away. If I use the topical steroid cream right away it helps some, but not like the lavender. Once I feel the area filling with the fluid, I immediately started putting the lavender oil on every 1/2 hour to hour, and kept doing that. It seems to make the fluid recede, and the skin heals so much faster than without the lavender.
