Lemon oil removed sticky caulk

When my son came in from the woods with pine sap all over his hands, I put a drop of lemon oil on his hands. He rubbed them together and it was gone!

Ever since we've lived here at the farm we've had sticky stuff on our doors. It's the caulk around the windows - in the summer heat it had melted and ran down the doors.
